O Elba Suites Gaia-Porto é um pequeno hotel localizado em Vila Nova de Gaia, numa vizinhança tranquila a 2 km da ponte D. Luis I, monumento de entrada para a cidade do Porto, a 18 minutos do metro e 3 minutos da paragem do autocarro que leva até as proximidades da Sé do Porto e estação São Bento de metro e comboio. Estacionamento público e gratuito está disponível a 3 minutos à pé do hotel. Acesso à Ribeira do Porto ou ao Cais de Gaia em apenas 5 min com Uber.

O hotel contém seis suítes, todas elas com casas de banho privativas e oferece cama confortável e ducha voltada para garantir um banho relaxante. O acesso ao hotel e aos quartos é automatizado, permitindo horário flexível de check in e check out.

As comodidades desta propriedade incluem ar condicionado, Wi-Fi gratuito, salão compartilhado e terraço com vista para a bela cidade invicta. The hotel facilities help you to have a great stay in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, with a living room with sofa and a table area and a cafeteria with refrigerator, coffee machine, microwave. We don´t have television in the room and living room because we are focussed on guarantee a restful and privacy stay to our guests.

Please let us know if you would like to have an Extra Cleaning service and change of bed linen/towels service. We offer breakfast for additional cost, only $4,00 (four euros) per person. Laundry is also available, for affordable prices. 

Elba Suítes is situated in a small residential stone street and parking is not available. It is strictly forbidden to park at the end of the 
Street because it is reserved to residents. 
There are public and free of charge parking just 100 meters away. When leave the hotel, turn right, cross the bridge and the traffic signal.  There is parking over there. 
You have the bus 32 that goes close to Estação Sao Bento. It is better to use the Andante Card. 
To plan your journey
Download Citymapper or Google Maps.
You will have to buy and Andante Card with 1,3,5 or 10 trips. The card is personal and cannot be used for more than one person at a time. You need to validate the tickets before getting inside the car. If you are staying in the center, you can buy only for 2 zones card. Search for more information at the metro station. The penalty fees can be very expensive if you don’t have the card. Andante car is valid for all forms of public transportation and are cheaper than paying in cash. 
Don’t forget to check in before going to the metro, the fee is very expensive.

It is not easy to find the Hotel Street on Google Maps. 
Some references are: Restaurante Ramadinha or Azevedo de Magalhões Street, beside the Quinta da Gervide. 
Note the street name is Vereda do Bolhão, which is different from Rua do Bolhão. 
If you come from Ponte do Infante, when you reach the roundabout, that the second exit, then turn to the rights, and then you will find a little street on your left, after Restaurante Ramadinha and the little bridge. 
Taking a taxi from the airport will be expensive. Using transportation apps will help you save money. The average cost is 15-17 euros from Elba Suites to the Airport with Uber, Bolt or other apps. 
To the center, you will pay 4-6 euros from Elba Suítes to São Bento Station with transportation apps. There are buses by the front door (bus stop on commercial area, crossing the bridge on the left, 20 meters away). 
However, using apps can be cheaper and more convenient than buses or metro (1,90 euros), if you are more than one person.
Elba Suítes has easy access by the Ponte do Infante and Ponte do Freixo, and also direct access to the highways that go from Oporto to Lisbon and Braga. 
It is great for those that are willing to explore Vila Nova de Gaia by foot!  Here are different walking distances to famous places:

Elba Suítes is part of Oliveira do Douro district and surrounded by Quinta da Gervide, an historic house where D. Maria I, Queen of Portugal, has being raised. The stone walls of Elba Suítes breath it’s history.
